Recently, Mayor Steve Lentz and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mundelein nominated Laura and Felix Castillo of Felix’s Famous Cookies for Congressman Bob Dold’s District 10 Leadership Awards, “Entrepreneurial Excellence” category.
With great Mundelein pride, we are pleased to announce that Felix’s Famous Cookies WON the 10th Congressional District Entrepreneurial Leadership Award hosted by Congressman Bob Dold.

The District 10 Leadership Awards are about recognizing the everyday heroes that make our community an amazing place to live, work and raise a family. Laura, and her 11 year-old-son Felix, have taken what started as a family hobby and turned it into a growing and thriving Mundelein business.
